Forklift Driver

PrideStaff is currently hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for an immediate, short-term assignment with a established industrial supply warehouse in the Tampa area. This is a great opportunity for a dependable operator looking for a fast-paced, 1-month project with steady hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage heavy inventory.
  
• Transport materials safely throughout the warehouse facility and loading dock areas.
  
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  
• Assist with general warehouse duties including inventory organization and palletizing.
  
• Adhere strictly to warehouse safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
  
• Proven experience handling large, heavy, or bulky materials.
  
• Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
  
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and punctuality.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
  
• Willingness to submit to standard pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
