We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our medical device manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly and production tasks to support daily manufacturing operations while ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, follows detailed work instructions, and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device products according to work instructions and departmental procedures.
• Operate manufacturing equipment used in the production of medical devices.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and manufacturing specifications.
• Identify product defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns and report them to the Line Lead or Supervisor.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Support quality initiatives by following FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Understand the importance of product quality and recognize manufacturing defects during the production process.
• Handle materials and finished products carefully to maintain product integrity.
• Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or medical device experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to recognize quality issues and report concerns promptly.
• Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to move completed products between workstations as needed.
• Ability to assist with equipment cleaning and workstation setup.
• No heavy lifting required.
• Must wear closed-toe shoes while working in the manufacturing environment.
