Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) The Plaza Health & Rehabilitation, Gainesville, FL Join our dedicated team as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in our in-house subacute rehabilitation unit. You will play a key role in evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, helping them regain their abilities and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and therapy exercises.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in subacute or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
