ADA Accommodations Specialist

We are seeking an ADA Accommodations Specialist to join our Employee Relations team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the interactive process for remote work accommodation and renewal requests, serving as a critical decision-maker who balances regulatory compliance, employee needs, and business operations. If you possess exceptional conflict-resolution skills, excel at identifying creative alternative workplace solutions, and thrive in managing an active, staggered case pipeline, this is an outstanding opportunity to drive impactful employee outcomes. salary: $32 - $32.01 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Manage the ADA Interactive Process: Evaluate incoming remote work and workplace accommodation requests, driving the end-to-end interactive discussion with empathy, clarity, and compliance. Develop Creative Alternatives: Partner with employees and business leaders to identify and implement viable alternative accommodations when primary requests cannot be granted as submitted. Navigate Challenging Conversations: Exercise sde-escalation, professional resilience, and clear communication when delivering sensitive accommodation decisions. Oversee an Active Caseload: Independently manage a pipeline of approximately 70 cases at various stages of completion, tracking medical documentation and maintaining timely, detailed case notes. What We’re Looking For background in HR operations, disability accommodations, leave administration, or employee relations. Direct experience facilitating the ADA interactive process and evaluating accommodation requests. Proven resilience and de-escalation skills to navigate complex, highly sensitive conversations effectively. Exceptional case management, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
