Overview JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical assistance and support to physicians and other healthcare professionals during interventional gastrointestinal procedures. Responsibilities Assist gastroenterologists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies. Ensure sterile technique is followed throughout procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise. Maintain accurate patient documentation and procedure logs. Clean and sterilize endoscopes and accessories according to protocol. Schedule / Shift Per diem shifts available. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience Previous experience as an endoscopy technician or in a similar role. Skills Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures. Knowledge of endoscopic equipment and instrumentation. Ability to maintain sterile field and aseptic technique. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Unit / Specialty Interventional Gastroenterology. #J-18808-Ljbffr
