Role Overview: A part-time Pediatric Dentist provides in-office surgical care alongside a Dental Anesthesiologist, focusing on pediatric patients in underserved communities. The role involves delivering comprehensive surgical and restorative treatments under sedation, collaborating with anesthesiology staff to ensure safe and efficient case flow, and partnering with office teams to maintain patient-centered, compliant care. Key Responsibilities Perform surgical and restorative procedures for pediatric patients under sedation Work closely with Dental Anesthesiologist to coordinate case management Deliver safe, efficient, and confident clinical care Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance and patient satisfaction Qualifications & Skills DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency Active or eligible dental license Current BLS/PALS, DEA, and state-specific sedation certifications Nitrous Oxide certification as required by state Additional Information The practice is equipped with digital x-ray systems, fiber-optic handpieces, and specialized support staff.
