Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver general medical administration of medications and patient care.
• Monitor post-operative surgical patients and provide care in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform remote tele monitoring with oversight from a monitoring technician.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in telemetry nursing is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is required.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with expectations to work every other weekend and holiday. The nurse may be required to float to the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:6, accommodating a surge plan up to 1:7.
