Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and craft specialized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage research-driven methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and overall daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care.
• Teach Patients and Families: Share valuable techniques with patients and their families to support continuous progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor clinical advancements and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on the right track towards recovery.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouraging ongoing education or additional certifications to enhance skills.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification a must.
