Position: Facilities Mechanic - Property Management

Location: Farmingdale, NY

Schedule: On-site, Mon-Fri

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate

Type: Direct Hire with benefits (full medical coverage offered)

We're seeking an experienced Facilities Mechanic to support a commercial property portfolio consisting of light industrial and retail buildings. This is a hands?on role focused on maintenance, repairs, and small construction projects across multiple sites.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine property maintenance and common?area repairs
• Complete commercial?grade carpentry, painting, flooring, ceilings, demo, and light electrical/plumbing
• Conduct property inspections and identify repair needs proactively
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow safety procedures
• Respond to tenant service requests professionally and with minimal disruption
• Handle suite turnovers, including demo and build?back
• Maintain tools, materials, and basic documentation

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in commercial construction, facilities, or property maintenance
• Strong all?around skill set: carpentry, paint, floors, ceilings, demo, light electrical/plumbing
• Ability to work independently across multiple properties
• Experience working in both active construction sites and occupied tenant spaces
• Professional appearance, strong communication, and clean work habits
• Valid driver's license

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
