Registered Nurse (RN) Stepdown Float Pool Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour night shifts Location: Scripps Memorial La Jolla and Green Hospital in La Jolla This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K. The RN in the Float Pool will float between Scripps La Jolla, widely known for the Prebys Cardiovascular Institute and Scripps Green Hospital campus recognized for their transplant program and spine services. As RN in the Float Pool, you will have the opportunity to float to Definitive Observation. Enjoy the variety working for the Float Pool brings along with self-scheduling and 4-week scheduling which provides maximum flexibility. Responsibilities include: Providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. Required: One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within hospital environment. California Registered Nurse License Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS provider certification. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing Progressive Care experience highly preferred Medical, Surgical, Telemetry and Definitive Observation experience
