Role Description The Leasing Agent role is a full-time, on-site position located in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and presenting available apartment homes and community features. The Leasing Agent manages the leasing process from initial inquiry through application, approval, and move-in, including preparing and executing lease documents and maintaining accurate leasing records. Day-to-day tasks include responding to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and supporting resident retention through prompt, professional communication. The Leasing Agent also collaborates with property management to ensure units are ready to show, assists with marketing activities, and helps uphold community standards and appearance. Qualifications Strong knowledge of leases and lease administration, with the ability to explain terms clearly to prospective residents. Experience in property management and residential leasing, including handling applications and coordinating move-ins. Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, courtesy, and problem-solving. Effective verbal and written communication skills and comfort interacting with diverse residents and prospects. Basic proficiency with property management software and standard office applications. Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL, including some evenings or weekends as needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling documentation and resident information. Previous leasing, sales, or hospitality experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in business or real estate is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
