Job Title Community Justice (LEAD) Case Manager Location Aurora / North Seattle Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Salary Range $73,500 – $87,500 (Base salary plus up to $2,000 for bilingual skills and/or higher education) Description Evergreen Treatment Services (ETS) has partnered with individuals and communities for more than 50 years to provide addiction and social services across Western Washington. The REACH Program supports people experiencing homelessness and behavioral health conditions, focusing on harm‑reduction, racial equity, and community health. The Community Justice (LEAD) Case Manager directly engages participants who face low‑level drug offenses or prostitution, providing outreach, intensive case management, and advocacy within the criminal‑justice system. Job Summary Full‑time, onsite position managing a caseload of approximately 25–30 participants. Deliver outreach, long‑term engagement, and intensive case management. Collaborate with LEAD partners, service providers, housing agencies, and community organizations. Participate in operational work‑group meetings and the REACH/LEAD team. Responsibilities Engage participants on the street and at service‑provider facilities to establish working relationships. Assess severity of chemical dependency, housing status, and needs for medical, mental health, or other services. Assist participants in accessing funding programs (e.g., SSI, ABD, VA) and in securing and maintaining housing. Develop and regularly update individualized service plans with participant input. Coordinate care with Sobering Center staff, DSHS workers, treatment providers, health‑care providers, shelter providers, landlords, detox centers, assessment centers, and other community programs. Provide structured intensive case‑management services consistent with program policies. Advocate for participants within the criminal‑justice system, including court appearances and written communication. Accompany participants to appointments and assist in shopping or developing spending plans. Advocate for systemic changes to address gaps and barriers in community resources. Maintain participant files in compliance with program, contract, and state requirements. Requirements Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent (higher education or training a plus). Demonstrated ability to engage and build a working alliance with vulnerable populations. Knowledge of harm‑reduction principles, racial justice, and social equity. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and work independently. Dependable, able to work under pressure, and receptive to change. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (or equivalent) and familiarity with email, calendaring, and virtual communication tools. Equipment Used Computer, photocopier, fax machine, phone. Possible use of a program vehicle (valid driver’s license required).
