Radiation Oncology RN - Outpatient

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM. No weekend or on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology RN for an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Epic and oncology, particularly in an outpatient clinic environment. The majority of staffing will occur at one facility, although there may be a requirement to float between the three clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a radiation oncology outpatient setting.
• Administer medications and maintain patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of RN experience is required, specifically in oncology and outpatient settings.
• Valid SC or multi-state compact RN license.
• BLS certification is required; chemo certification is preferred.
• Must provide a radiation badge (agency must provide).
