Shift Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM Role Overview Scientist 1 - Environmental Laboratory Analyst. This full-time position involves analyzing air, water, and soil samples to provide accurate data for community health and safety. Compensation $19.00 per hour. The exact amount depends on geographic location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. What You’ll Do Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods. Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment. Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, working around strong odors, and wearing required PPE. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Capacity to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
