Network EngineerDETAILSLocation: Chesapeake, VA 23322 (onsite 5-days per week)Position Type: 6M ContractHourly / Salary: to $60W2JOB SUMMARYVaco is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a 6M Contract that is located in Chesapeake, VA (onsite 5-days per week). The Network Engineer will support and enrich the enterprise network infrastructure within a large production environment. The Network Engineer will maintain and troubleshoot Layer 2 and foundational Layer 3 networking technologies, supporting switching, VLAN segmentation, trunking, wireless connectivity, and network access services while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations. The Network Engineer will work closely with existing network teams to assist with network implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational support across wired and wireless environments.
