This role primarily involves work in an acute care setting, focusing on a varied caseload including ortho, general, and GU post-op care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Transfuse blood and manage heparin drips per protocol
• Perform wound vac changes and use PCA pumps
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including patient care technicians
• Troubleshoot respiratory equipment in conjunction with RT support
• Review and document interpreted cardiac monitor strips
• Adhere to set schedules and float as necessary

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current RN License
• BLS Certification
• Experience with wound vacs, PCA pumps, and blood transfusion
