About the Role: The Inspector I plays a critical role in ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality and safety standards within the organization. This position involves conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects or deviations, and documenting findings to support continuous improvement efforts. The Inspector I collaborates closely with production teams and quality assurance personnel to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. By performing thorough evaluations and reporting accurately, this role helps prevent defective products from reaching customers, thereby protecting the company's reputation and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Inspector I contributes to the overall operational excellence by upholding high standards of quality and safety throughout the manufacturing or service process. Minimum Qualifications:

The ability to read technical drawings and specifications ensures that the Inspector I can verify compliance with design requirements effectively. Preferred skills like familiarity with quality management systems and basic computer proficiency support efficient documentation and reporting processes. Strong communication skills facilitate clear interaction with production and quality teams to resolve issues promptly. Together, these skills enable the Inspector I to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvement within the organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using standard inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Certification in quality inspection or related fields (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products, components, and materials to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Use measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to conduct precise inspections.
- Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conformances or defects to the quality control team.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on inspection findings.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
