Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications

* Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in West Virginia or eligibility through applicable licensure requirements * Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program * Strong communication and documentation skills * Passion for helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence * Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities

* Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting * Accurately document resident evaluations, treatments, and progress notes * Assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving overall function * Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care * Follow all applicable state and federal regulations governing therapy services * Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards * Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life through individualized treatment plans
