Pay: $37.00 - $38.00 per hour
Job description:
We are looking for experienced Class A drivers. Heavy haul assignment.
Great pay, mostly Over the Road, some local routing.
Duties
- Drive a Semi Truck
- Mainly OTR, Local and regional pickups and deliveries of the same cargo ever day
- Fill out log books
- Good customer service
- Ability to update and maintain good relationships with coworkers and clients
- Must have a valid Class A license
- Must have a valid TWIC Card
- HAZ endorsement Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Education
- High School Diploma is desirable
- Punctual and organized
- 6 Months to 1 Year of Experience in ports
- Ability to follow DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to fill out/maintain a log book
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to communicate with Port personnel
- Self-motivated, team player, who can work in a quick paced environment
- Hazmat Endorsement
- TWIC Card
