Job Description Community Tax Puerto Rico, LLC is a Puerto Rico‑based firm partnered with Community Tax, LLC, a nationally known and respected tax resolution firm headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. We are actively expanding our national presence and offer a fully structured, collaborative environment for attorneys, professionals and clients. We are currently accepting applications for an entry‑level / junior‑level attorney who is newly licensed and interested in tax resolution. Full training is provided as a member of our attorney team in our Hato Rey office. The hybrid work structure provides a work/life balance while fostering collaboration. Job Summary This position requires a self‑starter capable of working independently while understanding financial concepts. Attorneys in the firm represent taxpayers on resolution matters through negotiations with the IRS and state taxing authorities. Work includes submitting and negotiating Offers in Compromise, Innocent Spouse requests, Penalty Abatement requests, Installment Agreements, seizure defense, appeals and more. The role is fast‑paced, high‑volume and highly rewarding. Full‑time Employees Enjoy Collaborative work environment Competitive compensation with performance‑bonus incentives Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(k) Promotions from within Job Responsibilities Include Investigate and diagnose a client’s individual and/or business tax problems Create and implement solution‑oriented recommendations addressing specific clients’ tax issues in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment Apply strong analytical skills to conduct tax‑related research Communicate regularly with the IRS and relevant state tax authorities Manage case files productively, efficiently and in an organized manner Work collaboratively with all members of the CTAX team: case managers, sales associates, tax preparers and fellow practitioners to achieve the best possible resolution Excellent opportunity for newly licensed attorneys Desired Qualifications Entry‑level, licensed attorney with legal education or accounting/finance background (preferred) Recent bar exam pass encouraged Tax clinic experience during law school is a significant plus Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required Education and Other Requirements JD from an accredited law school Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction Strong research, analytical and writing skills Effective communication skills Strong desire to develop and grow in tax resolution Ability to manage a high‑volume workload Strong attention to detail Significant post law school experience is not required; we provide comprehensive training.
