Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Paralegal to join our team. This role is essential to the success of our attorneys and clients, serving as a key point of contact throughout the legal process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with attorneys on active family law matters while helping clients feel informed and supported during challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with case strategy, preparation, and management
• Draft, organize, and manage legal pleadings and discovery
• Assist with trial preparation, mediations, and hearings
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates and document collection
• Maintain case files, deadlines, and records within the firm’s case management system
• Help improve workflows and internal processes for greater efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law or litigation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with clients navigating stressful situations
• Experience with Clio or similar case management software preferred
• Familiarity with document automation tools such as Form Builder is a plus
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
