What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care in the emergency department, assessing patient needs and implementing appropriate interventions
- Use the nursing process to evaluate, plan, and execute patient treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Administer medications and treatments per hospital protocols
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records
- Monitor patient responses and escalate care as required
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
What You Need
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
- Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
