Globus Medical seeks a Production Technician to assemble electro-mechanical medical devices for musculoskeletal applications in compliance with FDA, ISO, and OSHA standards. The role involves operating production equipment, performing quality testing, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble subassemblies and finished products following standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Set up and operate production equipment in compliance with good manufacturing practices
- Test products and subassemblies for functionality; troubleshoot equipment and device issues
- Generate assembly records and device history records for regulatory compliance
- Support training of peers and new product introduction activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year manufacturing or related experience
- Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, power supplies, meters, and fixtures
- Demonstrated skill assembling, troubleshooting, and testing electromechanical equipment
- Familiarity with GMP environments and ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and self-directed work habits with minimal supervision
- Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred
