Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry located in Alexandria, Louisiana. This position involves providing care in a cardiac and telemetry unit requiring a minimum of one year of related nursing experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment begins on July 6, 2026, and offers an opportunity for a temporary-to-permanent arrangement.

Job Details:

• Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12 hours shift
• Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required, ACLS certification from AHA required, RN License in the state of employment or in a compact state, 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit is a Cardiac and Telemetry unit, not a stepdown unit. Temp to perm is a possibility.
• Responsibilities: Provide routine and complex nursing care independently, assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments following protocols, evaluate treatment effectiveness, document thoroughly, and provide patient education as needed. Meet the expectations of applicable nursing competencies, and demonstrate awareness of all relevant clinical and psychosocial aspects of patient care.
• Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required depending on staffing.
