Commercial Sales RepresentativeMcCarthy Tire ServicePosition SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to develop new business and manage relationships with existing customers. This role focuses on commercial truck, industrial, agricultural, OTR/earthmover, retread, and new tire sales, as well as providing exceptional customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.Identify customer needs and recommend tire and service solutions.Conduct fleet surveys, scrap tire analysis, and tire maintenance programs.Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and account development.Prepare and present customer proposals and negotiate/close sales.Maintain weekly call reports and follow up on sales opportunities.Partner with the service department to ensure customer needs are met.Travel locally to customer locations and safely operate a company vehicle.Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.Take on additional responsibilities as business needs arise.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.3–5 years of tire sales experience preferred.Proven success developing new accounts and closing sales.Strong understanding of the sales process and negotiation.Demonstrated leadership, customer service, and communication skills.Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn systems such as AS400, SAP, and BTN.Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Strong driving record and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, coworkers, and other departments.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Must pass a background check and drug screen.What We're Looking ForA results-driven sales professional who can build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, manage the sales process from prospecting through closing, and deliver outstanding service.McCarthy Tire Service is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
