Security Engineer

Location: Orange County, CA (Local candidates preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time (Only USC/GC candidates) The client is looking for a Security Engineer with expertise in firewall security, cloud security, and DevSecOps to join our team! If you have a passion for cybersecurity, risk assessment, and compliance , this is a great opportunity to work on cutting‑edge security solutions. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage security controls in Azure cloud environments. Review and enhance Palo Alto Firewall security rules and policies. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks. Manage security monitoring tools for real‑time threat detection and response. Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOX, PCI) and support security audits. Collaborate with DevOps & IT teams to integrate security best practices. Develop and maintain incident response plans and security awareness programs. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in information security or IT. Strong knowledge of firewall security, cloud security, and DevSecOps. Experience with security tools such as Palo Alto Firewall, CrowdStrike EDR, IDP, Filevantage, ArcticWolf, Delinea, Checkpoint Harmony, Automox.
