Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Labcorp seeks a clinical laboratory technologist for overnight shift work at a hospital laboratory in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves performing routine and complex testing procedures, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring specimen quality and test accuracy in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability and prepare specimens for testing
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures following standard operating procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and troubleshoot issues
• Prepare and evaluate reagents and controls; document maintenance and quality control
• Report accurate and timely test results and maintain safe work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
• 1+ year clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• 1+ year hospital laboratory experience preferred
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
