Description Base Pay $15.22 - $21.76 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Required Degree High school Manage Others No Contact information Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io The Registration Clerk meets and greats each patient as they come in to get registered for their appointment/procedure at Community Physicians Clinic. The registration of the patient is completed in our EMR software system, where you will obtain/enter in patient demographics and health insurance information. Training in the system will be provided. Inquire/collect any co-pays/deductibles. Communicates with staff, nurses, and physicians. Consults other departments to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to addressing the patient's needs. Calls patients for reminders for their appointments. Schedule/reschedule appointments as needed. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and outpatient clinic policies/procedures/standards, including infection prevention and control, and safety regulations and guidelines. Requirements Must have experience and working knowledge of medical terminology and good customer service skills. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Must be able to read, write, memorize, word process, and interact friendly and efficiently with the public. Ability to treat and work with all patients in a warm, friendly and caring atmosphere.
