Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty opportunity is available in a healthcare facility located in Napa, California. This position involves working in the recovery area of the facility, providing specialized postoperative care for patients. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and recovery, following established clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California license in hand; 2 years of recent PACU experience; Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS; Experience with Epic charting system; Valid SSN, DOB, RTO must be included at time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, PACU or postoperative care experience.
• Travel Experience Required: Yes
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Shifts involve varying start times, with specialized equipment used for patient monitoring and recovery.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. References covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required, including 6 months for CNAs. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. The candidate must meet specific experience requirements as outlined.
