This 16-week travel nursing job offers you the opportunity to work in a modern, 65-chair facility with a collaborative healthcare team, serving a diverse oncology patient population in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta. Location Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 – Buckhead area, close to parks, dining, and entertainment Healthcare Setting: 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center Details Assignment Duration: 16 weeks (September 29, 2025 – January 17, 2026) Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,800 - $1,840 per week Holiday Coverage: Required to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology RN and Bone Marrow Transplant nursing experience Chemo Certification required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Experience in outpatient infusion therapy preferred Ability to work assigned holiday shifts No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, GA Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and intravenous (IV) treatments to oncology patients in an outpatient infusion center Monitor patient responses and manage side effects during infusion therapy Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care Educate and provide emotional support to patients and their families Accurately document nursing care and maintain compliance with facility and clinical protocols Participate in required holiday coverage as part of the travel nursing assignment Benefits 401K with Matching Healthcare Dental Vision About GHR With over 30 years of healthcare staffing experience, GHR Healthcare is your trusted partner in finding the perfect contract or permanent role in the healthcare industry.
