Part Time Cashier

Cashier Position at Cub Eagan WestCub Eagan West on Cliff Road is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time cashier position! Cashiers at Cub follow front end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations, and expedient processing of all orders. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service!Job Responsibilities:Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associatesPerform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt mannerEnsure properly handling of all forms of tender and couponsEnsure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchangesAssist with customer questions or requestsAssist with front end maintenance and cleaningJob Requirements:Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).Able to stand for long periods of time.Memorization, reading, writing and math.The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.Must be 16 years of age and older.Physical Requirements:Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.Walking on uneven groundReaching, bending, turning, repetitive motionsSchedule:Varied weekly shiftsOpen availability preferredWeekends requiredBenefits:Flexible schedule for work life balance.Employee discount.Weekly pay on a progressive union scale.Union benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time Off.My Cub.
