About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in an ICU setting required. License: Valid state license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must-Have: Epic charting experience is required. Must have experience caring for ventilated patients. Must have experience with continuous IV sedation. Must have experience with ICP monitoring. Must have experience interpreting dysrhythmias and managing dysrhythmias. Must have experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Must have experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring. Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred. Description: Cross posting for floating to various ICU and intermediate care units. Includes Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU, Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Units. Position may include supporting patients awaiting room assignments from the Emergency Department. Nights with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Must work every other weekend and every other holiday. Time off will not be approved for specific dates. Only limited time off during the first two weeks of the assignment may be approved. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must adhere to floating policy. Pending licenses are accepted, but must be acquired prior to the start date. Candidate must have experience with Epic charting system. References are required upon application. Candidates will be expected to float within their scope of practice. Candidates must provide the required certifications for the job description. Separation policy applies to candidates returning after previous assignments. BSN is preferred. Background checks will be performed as part of the hiring process. Modules are non-billable and may be required. Work schedule may be subject to change based on patient needs.
