Senior Process Engineer

Job Description Serve as the site technical representative for commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities, providing oversight from documentation review through final equipment handover and startup readiness. Review, approve, and provide technical leadership for C&Q documentation including test cases, IV/OV protocols, startup and shakedown procedures, Test Matrices (TMs), CLIAs, VRS/QRS packages, and discrepancy reports. Lead safety and operational readiness efforts by participating in mechanical completion walkdowns, Pre-Functional Testing Safety Reviews, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and approving commissioning LOTO plans. Provide field execution support during equipment setup, shakedown, commissioning, qualification, and process testing, while leading troubleshooting efforts and resolving technical discrepancies. Collaborate with Operations, Automation, and C&Q teams to coordinate schedules, support water and solvent introduction activities, drive daily execution planning, and ensure successful system startup and performance verification. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 10+ years of manufacturing, engineering, commissioning & qualification (C&Q), or related experience 5+ years of C&Q and/or facility startup experience Strong experience reviewing and approving C&Q documentation Experience supporting equipment commissioning, qualification, startup, and handover Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts during commissioning and qualification activitiesExperience working cross-functionally with Operations, Automation, Technical Services, and contractors We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
