Retail Service Specialist-3

Compensation Pay Range: $14.42 - $20.40. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Position Overview The Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs (e.g., Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot). Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and notify customers upon shipment arrivals. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds accurately with correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks; ensure they are completed as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, obtain approval for changes/deviations, and clock in/out per company policy. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles. Execute any additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Strong communication skills. Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired Qualifications Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Knowledge of automotive systems and repair. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
