Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN Telemetry for a night shift float pool position requiring a GA or Compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Internal Float Pool unit
• Handles ED border patients within specialty
• May float between two facility locations as needed, with primary need at one location
• Staff will be informed of their assigned location prior to each shift
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• IV certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Floating occurs within specialty between two nearby facility locations, governed by a 15-mile radius
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to assignment start
• Former employees of the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
