Growing together.Position Highlights:In this position you will work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday-Friday.The patient population is an adult panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents and can be customized for interest areas. Our seniors have the convenience of our new Lifestyle Centers. Work in attractive/modern buildings and enjoy an electronic medical record environment. Full time management staff, digital radiology and onsite laboratory services add conveniences at our 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area.This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical . Together, we're making health care work better for everyone.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:* Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible; ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license * Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care* Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals* Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice* Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of their own patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient careThe salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
