Interventional Radiology is a medical subspecialty that performs minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. The Interventional Radiology department provides a safe and comfortable environment for both patients and personnel. Patients can expect professional and timely care. Key Roles and Responsibilities Operates fluoroscopy unit. Uses ultrasound and IVUS to guide procedures. Scrubs in vascular procedures and interventional procedures. Maintains sterile technique. Sets up room and sterile trays. Works in an OR environment. Scheduling Requirement Minimum of 1–2 shifts per week. Shifts are Monday‑Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM. On‑call requirement: 7 days per month on call. Monday‑Friday 6 PM‑7 AM. Weekends are 24 hours on call. Education Graduate of an approved and accredited program for Radiology Technologist. Related Work Experience Interventional Radiology experience required. Licensure, Certification or Registration Requirement Amer Human Resources Registry Radiologic Tech (ARRT) required. Basic Cardiac Life Support required. NJ state licensure/certification as a Radiology Technologist required. Aart certification in vascular interventional technology preferred. Benefits and Compensation Salary Range: $35.35 – $35.35 / hour.
