A physician-owned medical group in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join its inpatient team. This position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule, a round-and-go model, minimal call responsibilities, and a practice focused on inpatient medicine without procedures or code team duties.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients
\n
• Develop and implement treatment plans
\n
• Review medical histories, laboratory data, and diagnostic studies
\n
• Document patient encounters and care plans
\n
• Coordinate care with consulting physicians and clinical staff
\n
• Communicate treatment plans and recommendations with patients and families
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care activities
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\n
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
\n
• DEA registration
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications as required
\n
• Hospital medicine experience preferred
\n
