Northedge Steel, a steel manufacturing company, is currently seeking skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. Prior welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize welding equipment and tools to assemble and weld square tubes for premanufactured buildings.
• Fabricate components and structures using various metalworking techniques, such as cutting, bending, and shaping.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated structures for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain welding and fabrication equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions or damage to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator is a plus but not required. Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in welding and fabrication are also encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes, such as cutting, bending, and shaping.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding and fabrication-related issues.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding and fabrication tasks and work in various positions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
