Communications Manager

Title: Communications Manager Pay: $45 per hour Type: Onsite Schaumburg Illinois 60196 United States Duration: 6 months Key Responsibilities Oversee the communication strategies for organizational change programs as it relates to the integration of the businesses. Develop, lead and execute change communication plans, engage stakeholders across the business and build buy-in of the communication plans Work with core set of leaders to support broader priorities and messages Manage digital channels including Viva Engage, SharePoint pages, Vision 6 (email platform) and SmartSheet calendar functionality Work closely with the Integration Management Office, workstream leads and teams, and executive sponsors to assess the change requirements and translate them into a clearly defined communications plan with clearly defined messages to drive employee engagement and understanding Partner with People team to develop strategies and execute communications to 3,000 employees worldwide Support the broader internal communications efforts that engages colleagues with the business vision, strategy and priorities Support global town hall efforts including Q&A, deck, agenda and talking points Quality-assure the drafting of key communication assets and content to ensure full compliance to Group standards Develop and implement internal communication plans and programs in support of integration efforts Develop messaging that clarifies reasons for change, benefits of the change and how it helps the business achieve its vision and business objectives, and how the change will take place Develop and activate key messaging through relevant communication channels; ensure that messages are consistent and aligned through channels Work closely with the IMO workstream lead and teams and regional teams to distribute communications in a timely manner through the appropriate channels Partner with the functional teams to communicate change and drive engagement programs across many functions including finance, PR, marketing, people team and others. Build relationships with all levels in the organization to achieve communication objectives Collaborate closely with the comms and brand team and regional teams to ensure alignment of messages, campaigns, channels, etc. Manage internal stakeholder relationships to ensure communication needs are being met and aligned to business priorities Lead the management and execution of the internal comms channel strategy; manage the intranet, Viva Engage, email marketing automation platform, Teams groups, etc. Work closely with the external comms lead to manage and execute external social media channels Drive other communication initiatives as requested Regular predictable attendance Extended hours, as required, including working across global time zones as needed Visibility in the office, as required Currently an individual contributor Qualifications At least 8 years’ experience in communications roles within an international organization with a strong focus on managing change communications Experience with managing integration and M&A communications is preferred; a strong understanding of change management principles and best practices is essential for effective communication and support of change initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field Able to think strategically while being hands-on in execution Proven ability to execute communications campaigns across multiple channels and driving change and impact with an entrepreneurial spirit Able to be resilient under pressure and thrive in a very fast-paced environment. Native-level fluency in English with the ability to write inspiring and engaging content across various platforms (e.g., internal, social media, websites) Proficient in using email automation platforms and other digital channels, such as the intranet and internal social networking channels Excellent at managing, prioritizing, and organizing multiple topics, challenges, and deliverables Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders #J-18808-Ljbffr Swoon
