Job Description
The Water Damage Restoration Technician responds to residential and commercial properties to assess damage, remove water, dry structures, and help prevent mold and further loss. This role may work as part of a restoration crew, independently in the field, or under the direction of a project manager, with local service-area travel and emergency deployment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess water damage and identify affected materials and areas.
- Perform water extraction and structural drying.
- Monitor moisture levels throughout the restoration process.
- Operate restoration and drying equipment safely and effectively.
- Complete demolition work as needed to support restoration.
- Apply procedures to help prevent mold growth.
- Document site conditions, work performed, and restoration progress.
- Communicate with customers regarding site conditions and project status.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in water damage restoration.
