• Pay Rate: $48.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day (4x10 Hours), 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary

This is a Bone Density Technologist (DEXA Technologist) position. Bone density exam experience is a hardstop requirement for this job and experience must be current and proficient. Candidates are not required to hold a separate DEXA license; they must hold an active ARRT, RT (R) through OBMI. Candidates will not be required to perform X-rays.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bone density (DEXA) examinations with current and proficient skill
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate within the scope of a DEXA Technologist (not DEXA Technician)

Required Skills

• Current and proficient bone density exam (DEXA) experience hardstop requirement
• Active ARRT, RT (R) certification through OBMI
• BLS certification

Education Requirements

• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• RT (R) through OBMI required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Separate DEXA license is NOT required
