Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Engage directly with a diverse clientele experiencing various symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders through virtual counseling sessions. \n
- Conduct evidence-based assessments that inform the creation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs. \n
- Utilize integrated care strategies to ensure that clients receive comprehensive support, including coordination with family members and other healthcare providers. \n
- Empower clients by facilitating recovery and prevention services, emphasizing personal choice and self-efficacy. \n

- Maintain adherence to ethical standards and the Urban Renewal Center’s code of conduct in all professional interactions. \n

- Monitor treatment progress through regular assessments and adjust care plans accordingly to meet evolving needs. \n
- Timely completion of documentation, reports, and data submissions as part of maintaining operational transparency and accountability. \n
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a varied population that includes individuals from multiple cultural backgrounds, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses. Our client base often consists of individuals who are marginalized and have limited access to conventional mental health resources. As an LPC, you will be instrumental in advocating for their mental health needs and facilitating access to community resources.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. \n
- A valid LPC license in the state of Texas. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies relevant to mental health. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster effective client relationships. \n
- Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage a diverse caseload effectively. \n

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
