What You'll Do

• Assemble garage doors on a production line
• Use hand and power tools safely and accurately
• Follow production schedules and quality standards
• Move, lift, stack, and organize materials throughout the shift
• Learn different production areas through cross-training
• Help track materials and support inventory activities
• Complete basic production reporting using a computer or tablet
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
• Become forklift certified after hire and safely operate equipment as needed

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or general labor experience
• Experience using hand or power tools
• Inventory, material handling, or stock management experience
• Forklift experience or certification (a plus, but not required)
• Experience working in a team-based production environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
• Ability to lift up to 45-50 lbs independently
• Ability to safely perform team lifts for heavier items
• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment

Work Environment

This position works in a busy manufacturing facility where garage doors are assembled. You'll be on your feet throughout the shift, working with tools, materials, and production equipment in a team-oriented environment. Safety, quality, and teamwork are key to our success.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
