You’ll perform quality validation efforts, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement in annotation standards to support mission-critical AI/ML development.Responsibilities:Provide quality assurance reviews of annotated geospatial imageryTrain and mentor junior annotators on best practicesIdentify systemic annotation issues and drive corrective actionsValidate annotation accuracy across multiple formats (bounding boxes, segmentation, center points)Collaborate with peers, quality lead, program managers, and other critical partners to align data output with downstream model needsRecommend and implement improvements to annotation tools and processesWrite and maintain annotation guidelines and quality control documentationMinimum Qualifications:U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance7+ years of experience with EO, SAR, COMINT, and/or commercial imagery analysis and geospatial data annotationProficiency in geospatial software tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)Experience using Remote View, SOCET GXP, and/or Fade/MistDemonstrated leadership in data validation or quality assurance processesExperience with object classification, visual QA, and annotation feedback cyclesPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting government or defense missionsFamiliarity with automated quality metrics or annotation pipelinesExperience with SAR-specific feature analysisBasic scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Jupyter) is a plusPrior experience writing SOPs or developing team workflows#cjpost#LI-RDPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
