You must have an active Texas RN license or compact state license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and recent post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) or critical care experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, airway management, and strong assessment and communication skills are recommended.
