Job Description: The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the overall operational administration of the Outpatient Services Department. As a member of Senior management, this position ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the facility's goals and objectives, and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services. Reports directly to the Associate Administrator while maintaining a collaborative working relationship and communication with all Senior Management members. The Director works cooperatively with other management team members to ensure that each patient as a positive clinical experience with the best possible outcome. Qualifications Job Requirements Education: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Social Services required. Experience: 5-8 yrs prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an outpatient setting. Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of management, supervision, patient case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
