Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic health conditions.
• Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform detailed physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic and laboratory test results.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease prevention, and overall wellness.
• Promote continuity of care through follow-up treatment and care coordination.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records and patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

Urgent Care experience is preferred

Required

• Current California Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for California licensure
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Ability to meet Adventist Health Medical Staff credentialing requirements

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $132,384 - $198,577 annually

Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
