Job Title: Forklift Operator


Pay Rate: $17.75/hr.


Shift: 1st (6AM-6PM)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse or production facility while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, or other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move, stack, stage, and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform inventory movements and ensure products are stored in the correct locations.
• Verify quantities, labels, and product information for accuracy.
• Assist with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company policies, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements:

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (or as required by the position).
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with changing temperatures and noise levels.
