Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring cath lab scrub experience and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 1st floor Cardiac Cath Lab with a single lab room
• Adult and geriatric patient population with a 3:1 patient ratio
• Common diagnoses/treatments include CAD, PAD, NSTEMI, PE, and DVT
• Uses GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo equipment
• Meditech EHR experience preferred
• Shift is four 10-hour days, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to Interventional Radiology required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cath lab scrubbing experience required
• PCI and peripheral intervention experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Work in a Joint Commission accredited, 294-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital offering cardiac care, cancer care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services
• Facility located in Wilson, NC, approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh and within an hour of Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University
• Scrubs are provided
• Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment pay
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
